Side panel blocks

Most content types — Pages, News, Political News, E-Notes, Housing Reports and Events — have a second, separate block area called the Side Panel, alongside the main content. It's what generates the column you see running down the side of an article on your website.

Add these from the item's Side Panel field, the same way you add a content block — they're a different picker from the main content blocks, so look for the separate "Side Panel" section in the editor.

Table of Contents

Builds a jump-link list from the page's own headings, so a reader can click straight to a section.

Leave auto switched on (the default) and it builds itself from the Heading 2 / Heading 3 text in your content — nothing else to do. Turn auto off only if you need to list specific anchors by hand, which then requires entering each row's title and anchor yourself.

Related News

A card list of other News items, separate from the item you're editing. Set a title (defaults to "Related News"), an optional category filter, and how many to show (default 3).

Related Events

The same idea for Events — set a title (defaults to "Related Events"), optional category and event type filters, and how many to show (default 3).

Links

A free-form list of links you build by hand — each with a link, an optional image and optional descriptive text. Set a title (defaults to "Related Links"). Use this for anything the automatic blocks above don't cover.
