Redirects
Redirects is under Site Features in the left-hand menu. It sends visitors who land on an old web address to a new one instead of a "page not found" error.
When to use one
The most common reason: you changed a page's slug, or moved it under a different parent, and the address changed as a result (see Pages and the page builder). Anyone with the old link — a bookmark, an old email, a search-engine result — would otherwise land on a dead page.
Setting one up
Each redirect has two parts:
- From — the old path, starting with
/. - To — where it should go instead. Pick Internal link and choose a Page or News item, or pick Custom URL and type any address.
Changing an existing redirect's From value requires the website to be rebuilt before it takes effect. It won't update the moment you save — if you need it live quickly, tell your account contact so a rebuild can be triggered.
