Property listings

Listings is under Tangila Data + MLS in the left-hand menu. It holds the properties shown in property search on your website.

Listings come from your MLS feed and are managed entirely by it. Nobody types a listing in by hand, and only an Admin can create, edit or delete one here. This is the single most common thing people expect to be able to do on this screen, and it isn't — a wrong listing has to be corrected by the listing agent, in the MLS.

What you can see

Each listing has an MLS ID/MLS Number, Status (Active, Pending, Sold, Expired, Withdrawn), Listing Type (For Sale/For Rent), full address and map coordinates, property details (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and so on), price, and a Listing Photos tab with every image the feed sent. Useful when a member calls to ask why their property looks wrong on the site — you can see exactly what the feed sent, without guessing.

"A listing is missing from the website"

Work through these before reporting it:

  1. Is it in the MLS, and is its status Active? A sold or expired listing is meant to drop off.
  2. Has a sync run since it was listed? Open Listing Sync Logs and check the most recent run — new listings appear at the next sync, not instantly.
  3. Search for it here by MLS number or ID. If it's in this list but not on the website, that's worth reporting. If it isn't in this list, the feed hasn't sent it yet, and the fix is on the MLS side, not here.

That third step is what separates "the website is broken" from "the feed hasn't sent it yet" — they need different people to fix them.

Photos

Listing photos come down with the listing and are stored separately from your Media library, so they never clutter it. If a photo is missing, try Fix Missing Images first (see Running syncs) — if that doesn't resolve it, the photo has to be fixed at the source.

Where this appears on the website

Property search at /search/properties, with each listing on its own page, and open houses filtered out separately via the Open Houses List block.
